Our Mission

School Health Partners, LLC is more than a staffing agency, we are a dedicated team with a mission to partner with schools to provide health consulting and temporary nursing staffing personnel (RNs and LPNs) to support schools so that students are healthy and ready to learn. Our mission is to match quality nurses with school staffing needs in public, public charter, private, and parochial schools in the District of Columbia, by being innovative, thoughtful, and student-centered.

Our organization has a holistic approach to student health that meets both the school's needs and the individual needs of students. We integrate with each school partner by becoming a part of their team and by creating a custom health and wellness plan for their students and team. : We’re committed to students’ health and academic success just like you are, which is why all of our nursing staff is either from school settings or the pediatric field.

Our Values

Meet our CEO & Chief Nurse


Sharon Bostic, founding CEO and Chief Nurse has a doctorate in nursing practice and 25+ years of combined experience as a registered nurse and a nurse leader in school and pediatric nursing. She is certified in pediatric nursing and has served in various director-level roles in school health, and pediatric nursing services. She is currently a school health consultant for the DC Public Charter School Board and previously with the National Association of School Nurses.

Under her leadership, she has demonstrated responsibility for the provision of school health services in accordance with the standards and guidelines of the National Association for School Nurses, American Academy of Pediatrics, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and relevant Federal and District of Columbia laws and regulations. She has also led efforts to improve the quality care in schools for students with chronic conditions, improved staffing coverage for schools, facilitated professional development, supported schools reopening during the COVID-19 pandemic, and developed COVID-19 reference resources for school nurses.
